The Art of being Rich
Abundance is the state of natural balance in which everyone has everything that they have ever desired. It is simply the way in which the universe is structured.
ALL teachings about the "goodness" of poverty are deliberate attempts to get you to deny your wealth so that a few others can have far more than they could possibly use. It's insane, I know, but some have the belief that such is an expression of their worth.
Let us take as an example a (real) man with a personal fortune of over $30,000,000,000 - there are a few such. (Bill Gates, for example, has very much more.) This particular person uses his fortune to manipulate currency exchange rates to make even more money. Now, think for a minute, what on Earth could he possibly buy with that amount of money? Even Bill Gates' mansion - probably the most expensive house on the planet - would not make a significant dent in it. What could he buy then? The money is worthless to him because there is nothing for him to buy.
When asked about the suffering he has caused by creating economic disruptions he actually blamed those suffering economic hardships for making him take their money!!!
He was speaking no less than truth; if you refuse your wealth, it does not go away; someone else has got to carry it for you.
Are you ready to accept your wealth now or do you wish to continue burdoning others with it?
Just to help things along a little more, here is a quotation from Saint Francis of Assisi:
My "Lesson" in what some call poverty is not, as many have said, that poverty is in some way holy: That would be totally untrue for it would "teach" that suffering is the will of God and that is not so. "Poverty" is freedom from possessions – the experience of trust in the will of God. Only so can one see and receive the abundance which God gives us all. Give up your possessions – they are your belief that God will betray you. Give all to all: These are your gifts which God gives you so that you, too, can give. Only by giving can you know and teach peace and only in total peace will you know that you already have everything. My lesson is not poverty but wealth far greater than your timid ego can imagine. All hail the Son of God. Francis.
Wealth, however, is not money. Money is about persuading you to give up your abundance in exchange for something which is, intrinsically, completely worthless. The objective is to give to those who "print" money the power to control your life.
Money was, in fact, very little used until about 300 years ago.
We are now well into the next "phase" in which the value of money is steadily reduced in order to force you to invest steadily more effort into getting enough of it to survive. The more time and effort you put into getting money, the less you will notice of what is going on around you.
The creation of poverty has always been the prime tool for the creation of a dictatorship.
Money, however, belongs to the whole of mankind. That means that you, too, can do whatever you like with it. You do NOT need to supinely accept the crumbs which fall off the banker's table but can stand up and help yourself to as many armfuls of the stuff as you like.
Remember, the bankers can never take your power, they can only (successfully to date) persuade you to voluntarily give it to them! It's now time to take it back, isn't it? This is how:
The first thing that you need to do is to find your income comfort level. By this I mean the level at which an "inner voice" says, "I can do that". Say, for example, you're getting 1000 (Dollars, Euros, Pounds, Dinars, whatever they're called where you are) each month. Try closing your eyes and visualising getting 1100 each month. How does that feel? Disappointing or do you burst with joy? If your reaction is joy then this is the sum to work with. If it's disappointing, try 1150 then 1200 and so forth until you find your own joyous level.
Always, always, always bear in mind that this is not a competition but your personal joy and abundance. What you are happy to receive is perfect for you. What others may do belongs to their life path and has nothing whatsoever to do with you. You are here to practice being who YOU want to be!
