The greater part of the health industry was bought up by Rockefeller and Carnegie in the early part of the last century with the intent of making it a cash cow for them. It is rightly called a "Sickness Industry" because they have ensured that doctors are trained only to manage sickness and never to heal thus making very many people life-long customers for their products. Healing, on the other hand, is very simple and involves nothing more than removing instead of maintaining the causes of sickness. There are, in fact, only twelve diseases and these are all detailed in the book.
